CITiZAN archaeologists are holding events all around England. Come see when we'll next be in your area and join us!
- A free two day course based at Sandwich Bay. At 6am, it will be an early start for our foreshore session on Wednesday but the sunrise, and the archaeology, make it well worth it!
- This walking workshop takes you along the stunning Devon Coastline where we will be stopping at various archaeological sites to confirm update and record our Coastal heritage at risk. The sites on this stretch vary from lost villages & pilchard sheds to Cherry copse,Pillboxes and a little bit of prehistory.
- Save the date! The 4th annual CITiZAN conference takes place in the Gustave Tuck lecture theatre, University College London (UCL) on Saturday 22nd February 2020, 9:30 - 17:00. To celebrate intertidal and coastal archaeology as an emerging discipline within the field of archaeology the theme of this years conference is Intrigue and Opportunity.
