Events in 2020
CITiZAN archaeologists are holding events all around England. Come see when we'll next be in your area and join us!
- Join the East Kent Coast Discovery Programme as we walk along the bank of the eastern Swale recording any remains we see with the CITiZAN app and RTK, sub- centimeter precision survey equipment. **This event was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We hope to run it at a later date, yet to be confirmed. Please keep checking our website for details**
- Peter Murphy from the Chichester & District Archaeological Society's Coastal Monitoring Group will provide an update of work at Medmerry, West Sussex. The area which has been subject to a programme of managed coastal retreat since 2011 is host to a wide range of archaeological features spanning from the Bronze Age to the Post Medieval period.
- Join the Humberside team and Active Coast to Cover the Coast in 2020.
- Join Team North over on Twitter at 10am Friday 1 May 2020 for a virtual Low Tide Trail.
- The time has come for Heritage on House arrest. Its time for an insight into the weird, wonderful and sometimes racy CITiZAN Group Chat. As we enter our second weekend of isolation its time for a lovely little quiz made from the memes, images and general nonsensical blatherings from the CITiZAN group chat. If you have nothing better to do have a peak, it does not disappoint!
