- Round 2 - Still stuck indoors! Yet another quiz from the CITiZAN team. As cabin fever sets in and we need time away from our screens we channelled our loosening grips on sanity into reconstructing sites, historical figure and photographs. Utilizing potatoes, chocolate, die and jumpers to create some historic sites for you to guess at. Do not pretend you have a busy weekend schedule!
- This walking workshop takes you along the stunning Devon Coastline up to the infamous hope cove. During the walk, we will be stopping at various archaeological sites to confirm update and record our Coastal heritage at risk. The sites on this stretch vary from lost Roman settlements, various pillboxes, smuggler coves and a potential submerged forest.
- Join the Humberside team and Active Coast to Cover the Coast in 2020.
- Join CITiZAN and the NAS for a guided walk of the shipwrecks and intriguing lines of posts scattererd across beautiful Sandwich flats. Wellies essential!
- Join CITiZAN to learn about the military defences of the Liverpool Bay Discovery Programme. Learn about the area's early defences and how these defences were developed during the First and Second World War. We will also be highlighting the results of recent survey of the surviving QL shelter in the Ravenmeols Sandhill Nature Reserve. Join us at Formby Library from 2pm to 3pm.
