Ramsgate is a place which conjures images of sunshine & holidays by the sea. A favourite destination for the likes of Darwin, Van Gogh & even Queen Victoria , it can  boast the only UK harbour with Royal status.

However this picture belies a more turbulent history, one which is steeped in conflict & coastal emergency. Ranging from the great storm of 1703 to  the evacuation of Dunkirk in WW2, join us on a guided walk to discover the heritage of the harbour & the remarkable stories which have shaped it.
