CITiZAN archaeologists are holding events all around England. Come see when we'll next be in your area and join us!
- This weekend is aimed at individuals who wish to learn new or improve skills in archaeological surveying. The weekend will encompass the theory and method behind recording archaeological features in the intertidal zone.
- CITiZAN will be returning the Lepe Country Park to record the remains for the preperations for D-Day. This time we will be working with the New Forest National Park authority and we will be building upon their detailed survey of the area thus providing a monitoring element to the weekend.
- Situated on the highest point of Tennyson Down on the Isle of Wight is an enigmatic pre-historic enclosure which is being rapidly lost to cliff erosion. CITiZAN and the National Trust are running a community excavation to find out more about the site before it is lost.
