Events in 2016
CITiZAN archaeologists are holding events all around England. Come see when we'll next be in your area and join us!
- Come join Team North for a day on Fraisthorpe foreshore, south of Bridlington, to help record a mystery pillbox which has only recently been rediscovered.
- An informal walk to try out our app for smartphones and tablets, and our downloadable and printable Feature Update Survey packs. The exact meeting place is to be confirmed but will be in the Maldon or Heybridge area.
- Join CITiZAN for a guided walk of the archaeology of South Landing, explore the remains of the sea-going heritage and the defensive nature of the east coast of Yorkshire. This event is done in partnership with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. This event is free but please book.
- A free talk and tour given by the Thames Sailing Barge Trust on board one of their two Thames Sailing Barges, Pudge or Centaur. Come and learn more about the history of these historic vessels and take the chance to explore above and below the deck.
