Events in 2015
CITiZAN archaeologists are holding events all around England. Come see when we'll next be in your area and join us!
- A chance to meet the CITiZAN team at our stall at the National Trust's Bioblitz in Blakeney
- CITiZAN will present a paper at the EAA (European Archaeology Association) conference in Glasgow, championing "citizen science" as a great response to the threat to archaeology by climate change.
- Explore the submerged prehistoric forest that covers Pett Level! This three day training event will have a guided walk on the Friday, a morning of mini lectures on Saturday and two afternoon foreshore recording sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
- This training is open to members of the Chichester District Archaeology Society and will consist of a classroom session followed by a practical session on the foreshore.
- We'll be giving a short talk about our proposed work in the Cliffe area over the coming months. We'll be looking at the wreck of the Hans Egede near Cliffe Fort as well as the Brennan wire guided torpedo launch site so come along for an informal chat and to register as a CITiZAN to help us out!
