Nov 2019 Irregularly shaped concrete structure built of breeze blocks, covered with dense scrub. Some of the remaining walls have partially collapsed, remaining/accessible sections walls maximum 4 breeze blocks high. Some of the walls are at right angles to each other, some are at an oblique angle. Odd breeze blocks lie around the whole area. Minimum area of coverage c 8m NE x 16m SW. The SE section is partially accessible, NW section completely covered in scrub but parts of wall just visible through undergrowth.
Probably WWII and associated with other remains in the area: possibly a 40mm Bofors gun emplacement (pers. comm. C Kolonko, field interpretation).
