Join the CITiZAN North team and Active Coast to explore Flamborugh Head as part of the Cover the Coast series of events. Explore the headland around the lighthouses and Selwicks Bay and Discover the historical and natural heritage of the area in more detail.

We'll meet at the main Flamborough Lighthouse Car Park (YO15 1AR) and explore the Lighthouse and the immediate forshore of Selwicks Bay, steeped in heritage. We'll have time to enjoy panoramic views from the lantern room of the lighthouse and explore some of the natural history of the headland.

Please be aware that booking with Active Coast is essential. A booking link will be available on the Active Coast website in due course. Booking is free, parking is pay-and-display, and there are public toilets and a cafe at the start of the circular walk. Public transport timetables to Flamborough village, via bus, can be found here. It is an addtional 2 miles from the village to the meeting place.
