Humber Bridge Country Park, HU13 0LN
Join the CITiZAN North team and Active Coast to walk across the iconic Humber Bridge as part of the Cover the Coast series of events. Explore both sides of the Grade I listed bridge and Discover the historical and natural heritage of the area in more detail.
We'll meet at the main bottom car park (by the Cafe, HU13 0LN) and cross the bridge affording amazing views of the estuary and both its shorelines. We'll have time to explore the Waters' Edge Country Park as well as time to look at the heritage of Hessle's boat building industries.
Please be aware that booking is essential and can be done through Active Coast. Booking is free, as is parking, and there are public toilets and a cafe at the start of the circular walk. Public trainsport to the park is also available either via bus or to Hessle train station, more info here.
