CITiZAN Training: Investigating Crosby Battery

Come and join the CITiZAN team as we investigate the remains of the Crosby Battery, which once protected the northern approaches to Liverpool. We plan to explore the area the battery once sat upon, recording and documenting as we go, and train attendees in basic archaeological recording and the use of our free app.
The morning will be spent in the social room of the Blundellsands Sailing Club with ssome local history information from both CITiZAN and Chris Kolonko of the Home Front Legacy project, before heading out for the afternoon. Attendance is FREE, but please make sure to register before coming!
All ages are welcome, but please also remember to bring waterproofs, sensible sturdy footwear and a packed lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.
