Cleethorpes
Come join us for a two-day event on the foreshore south of Cleethorpes, at Humberston, to explore and exciting landscape with unrecorded peat beds, amazing animal footprints and shipwrecks. Please be aware the site we work on is subject to what features are uncovered at the time of the event and tide dependant.
We will be meeting at 10am at Cleethorpes Leasure Centre for some health and safety and paperwork before heading out on site. We will finish at 3pm, but this is tide dependant and we may finish slightly early or later.
Please bring warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy suitable footwear, wellies would be best. Please bring a lunch as there is few places nearby where to buy food.
On site parking will be at Meridian Road car park, near Cleethorpes Coast Railway and behind Meridian Showground. There will be a classroom session prior to going out to site to cover health and safety and theory and method of the recording we will be undertaking.This indoor venue is still being confirmed.
