The Hythe, Maldon, Essex

Following CITiZAN's training weekend at the Barge Graveyard in Maldon in May we've arranged a talk and tour on board one of Thames Barge Sailing Trust's barges (either Pudge or Centaur). This is a great opportunity to learn more about the history of these beautiful vessels, and to have a look around one. 

After the tour and talk we'll give a short presentation on CITiZAN and our App, a great new tool for recording archaeology that you can take out with you on walks along the foreshore! If you've already signed up as a CITiZAN surveyor, and downloaded the App then we can answer any questions you might have.
