Workshop: Littlehampton

14/06/2016  |  9:15 a.m.

Littlehampton

This day-long workshop will start in the classroom. We’ll give an overview of the CITiZAN project and then introduce two of our recording methods: paper based ‘feature survey packs’ and our App for smartphones, tablets and iPads. In the afternoon we’ll go to West Beach to practise recording skills, focusing on the features already shown on our interactive map, and to see if we can add any new features.

Over the workshop you’ll develop the skills to identify, record and monitor the condition of archaeological features. By doing so, you’ll also be adding valuable detail to CITiZAN’s England wide interactive map of coastal and intertidal archaeology.
