Northey Island, Essex

CITiZAN are excited to have been invited to the National Trust event Castaway on the gorgeous Northey Island - only linked to the mainland by a causeway that disappears at high tide. There'll be stalls and activities all day on Saturday, with a beer tent and hot food all weekend and live music on Saturday night.

We're not sure what CITiZAN will be up to yet but can guarantee that we'll be able to show you all sorts of fascinating archaeological remains from Thames sailing barges to oyster beds to an abandoned swimming pool in the middle of a wood! We'll add more deatails when we have them, meanwhile see the National Trust website for their Castaway details.
