CITiZAN Climate Change Pledge Infographic

Following on from our 2022, the CITiZAN Team would like to share their commitment to securing a sustainable future in the form of a pledge that will guide their working principles as the team moves beyond CITiZAN to projects new.

We will be taking measures to maximise resource efficiency and be accountable for the negatice impact we have on the environment. Our focus will be on energy efficiency, consumpution and waste reduction, plastic minimisation, and restoring wellbeing. To do this, we will be changing our behaviour and are commiting to:

Turn off personal electronical equipment.
Use eco-friendly suppliers.
Recycle, resuse, and repurpose appliances.
Reduce archives stored on servers.
Reduce food waste.
Reduce promotional giveaways.
Reduce excess packaging.
Promote the Five R's
Cut out plastic.
Support local suppliers.
Promote vegan catering.
Use eco-friendly products.
Support peat restoration.
Advocate for Climate Action.

Why change? Through our work on the foreshores of England we have witnessed first hand the impact that humans are having on the environment.
