Food culture and the intangible heritage of the North

Intangible heritage is all about the parts of a region's culture that can't be tied down to buildings or archaeological sites - regional costumes, dances and words. Food plays a big part in intangible heritage, what people eat, how they make it and how they eat it. In the last five and half years Team North have visited some amazing places and had some excellent food. Here's just a few of our favourites.
