Outreach: Formby

Join us on the National Trust site at Formby to search for prehistoric footprints on the beach and learn how archaeologists record these ephemeral prints for future generations. Try your hand at identifying bird, deer, Auroch or maybe human prints. No need to book, just ask for directions at the information trailer or the kiosk to find us on the beach.

Training: Exploring the foreshore of the river Stour

Since 2016 the CITiZAN team and local volunteers have been exploring and recording the agricultural quays of the Stour.This year we will be continuing our investigations as we move westwards along the river to explore a variety of structures near to the village of Manningtree.
