Come and experience the 4000 year old prehistoric submerged landscape at Cleethorpes; see the remains of the submerged forest and the eroding peat shelves which in 2015 exposed a prehistoric trackway.

Meet at 10.45am at the Slipway down to the beach at the northern end of the North Promenade, opposite Wonderland. The tour will take about an hour but timings may change dependant on tides. Please be aware that participants should be fit and agile as the terrain can be difficult and muddy. Please wear appropriate footwear, wellies are recommended, and appropriate clothing for weather conditions. Public toilets and hand washing facilities can be found on the promenade but please be aware that these are a walk away. Parking is avaliable on the promenade but is pay and display.
